RHAIR CARE GUIDE
Raw Hair Care Tips — Keep Your Rhair Looking Rare
Raw hair is 100% unprocessed human hair, which means it requires the same love and care as your natural hair. Follow these tips to maintain softness, longevity, and shine:1. Use Sulfate-Free Products
Always wash your bundles with sulfate-free and alcohol-free shampoo and conditioner. Harsh chemicals strip moisture and damage the cuticle.
2. Keep It Hydrated
Raw hair doesn’t receive natural oils from your scalp, so it needs extra moisture. Deep condition weekly and use a lightweight leave-in conditioner when needed.
3. Wash Gently (But Regularly)
Cleanse your raw hair every 2–3 weeks, especially if using styling products. Gently detangle before washing and wash in a downward motion to prevent tangling.
4. Detangle with Care
Use a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush. Start from the ends and work your way up to avoid breakage. Always detangle while the hair is damp and conditioned.
5. Minimize Heat Use
Raw hair can handle heat, but overusing flat irons or curling wands will shorten its lifespan. Always use a heat protectant and avoid daily heat styling.
6. Wrap It Up at Night
To prevent friction, wrap your hair in a satin or silk bonnet, or use a silk pillowcase. For installs or wigs, braid or twist the hair loosely before bed.
7. Let It Air Dry
After washing, gently squeeze out excess water with a microfiber towel and allow the hair to air dry naturally to preserve its natural texture.
8. Avoid Heavy Oils & Sprays
Stay away from greasy products, hair sprays, and alcohol-based serums. They cause buildup and dullness. Opt for lightweight serums or natural oils (like argan or almond oil) in moderation.
9. Treat It Like It’s Yours (Because It Is)
Raw hair lasts 3-5 years with proper care. Think of it as an investment — the better you care for it, the longer it will serve you.
